Connections between Edinburgh and Dublin- a brand new Partnership for Invisible Cities

Edinburgh Irish Connections

In Scotland, we are so excited to start working (virtually) with friends in Ireland to offer you unique tours on the connections between our two countries.

Virtually Irish promotes collaboration between tour guides, operators and organisations in Ireland and have been supporting some of our own guides with their virtual guiding skills. Together, we will offer virtual tours and content that highlight the close relationship between our two countries.

Scottish Cities welcomed many Irish immigrants over the last centuries and several connections remain between Dublin and Edinburgh or Glasgow. We cannot wait to show people at home, what these are.

Hosted on Zoom, we are hoping to make these virtual tours a regular occurance, starting between Edinburgh and Dublin. They will include a guide from each place speaking one after the other and showing hidden gems in their own city.

Additional content will be released to dig even deeper into this topic, and include the whole family, so stay tuned!

Our first ever Irish Connection Virtual Tour will take place on february 10th at 4.30pm and can be booked here.
