At Invisible Cities, our mission is to support our trainees and guides so they can access opportunities for employment and education in their cities. In Edinburgh, we are very excited to be partnering with Greyfriars’ Kirk in Edinburgh to do just that!
Starting from May 2024, our guides will be delivering unique tours of the Greyfriars’ church to visitors. After working closely with their team, we have developed a short and information packed tour of the church (indoors only) so guests can discover some of its history but also some of the unique objects it hosts.
Tickets for the tours are sold via citizentickets, the unique ticketing platform which for every ticket sold donates money towards planting trees in the UK. Income from tours will be split between the Kirk and Invisible Cities so we can continue paying our guides a Living Wage in the city.
Tours are available every Wednesday, at 12pm and 1pm and limited to 15 guests each time. They are about 30 minute long.
