Invisible Cities Partners with SWG3 Glasgow and Yardworks for unique Clyde Tunnel Tours

We are so excited to announce the launch of our 2025 Clyde Tunnel tours, as part of a unique collaboration between Invisible Cities, SWG3 Glasgow and Yardworks. This will be the second year that we are working alongside these creative organisations to bring you unique social enterprise tours in the city.

Our 2025 partnership brings together storytelling, art, and urban history to uncover the fascinating story of the Clyde Tunnel, a vital connection beneath the River Clyde. This is another community impact project that we are proud to be able to work together on.

With the expertise of SWG3 and Yardworks in urban art and creative spaces, our guides have worked hard at designing and practicing tours that will be offered free of charge to the public. Starting from March 19th the alternative city tours will explore the tunnel’s history, its role in Glasgow’s development, and its potential as a space for workers, art and community.

Tours will take place at 1pm between March 19th and April 12th – twice a week- and they will last about 1 hour and 30 minutes

You can reserve your spot on these social enterprise tours, by clicking on the date you are interested in below.

We are incredibly thankful to our partners, SWG3 and Yardwords for untrusting us with these brand new tours and cannot wait to meet everyone!

      Hi Keven

The team may get back to you directly but the date you have chosen is now fully booked which is why it no longer works 🙁 Dates with available spots are 19th and 26th March as well as 9th April!

Hi Aily, someone in the team will get back to you by email as we can probably organise a special date and time for the 15 volunteers 🙂
