Invisible (Edinburgh) Partners with Capital Hotels to Support Refugee Community

Invisible (Edinburgh) is delighted to partner with two more hotels (remember we already work with The Kimpton Charlotte Square and the Locke Hotel) in the city- this time to work on very specific projects in our community!

The Bruntsfield Hotel and the Crown Plaza Hotel in Edinburgh are supporting Invisible (Edinburgh) through their Meet with Purpose Programme. When booking their corporate meeting packages at the two hotels, corporate groups can choose to opt-in for the programme- adding a little extra money for each package.

For each package sold, Invisible (Edinburgh) will deliver one tour completely FREE OF CHARGE to a Ukrainian person new to the city but also a small Welcome to Edinburgh Pack for a child. Each pack includes a bottle of irn bru (obviously!), tablet but also games and fun activities all based on Scotland.

We are able to deliver these tours and welcome packs, thanks to our friends at the Edinburgh Ukrainian Club- where they are advertised and where we start our tours every second Tuesday at lunch time.

We are delighted to say that to date, we have been able to offer tours to 81 guests and distribute 90 goodie bags….and that is just the beginning! Tours continue every two weeks as more and more groups choose this option.

These tours are part of our community social impact and we hope to be expanding them through the city and beyond. In Glasgow, Manchester and Edinburgh, we offer free community tours to groups and special guests. You can read more about this here and if you are part of a community group yourself and would like to attend one of our tours, get in touch!
