Celebrating Glasgow Turning 850 Years Old with a Special Tour: Stories Behind Glasgow’s Hospitality Scene

As part of the Glasgow 850 anniversary and its Taste the Place campaign celebrations, Invisible Cities is proud to deliver a brand new walking tour “Stories Behind Glasgow’s Hospitality Scene“.

This tour invites you to explore the vibrant neighbourhoods of Partick and Finnieston, where you’ll discover the inspiring stories behind five local hospitality venues. From restaurants and cafés to street food favourites, this is a chance to learn about the people, cultures, and journeys that bring these businesses to life.

We are delivering six public tours, which are completely free to attend! But places are limited and offered on a first come, first served basis.

PLEASE NOTE: This tour does not involve food tasting, eating, or going inside the venues. It is a walking tour focused on storytelling and community, and we encourage you to visit the venues in your own time if you’d like to experience their food.

Join us for a walk full of community spirit, storytelling, and local pride and meet the people who help make Glasgow’s hospitality scene so special.
